Tug-Of-War

Dire was the predicament which my heart found itself in

Clinical was the message from the brain within

“Take the plunge” exhorted the ever beating lub dub organ

“Put the breaks on” warned the cranial father to a confused son

The eternal tug of war every faced by every man

Am no exception, there’s no way I can
