A billion have got at least one dose of vaccines said we
But a million are still to even get one they retorted with barely suppressed glee
The obfuscation of truth for some, is an indispensable mission
That demands wild skepticism and an inveterate need to question
Empowering humanity? Oh noble motives be damned
Into many altruistic works, only spanners need to be jammed
The favours of the day are discord, selfishness and pure hypocrisy
Poor foolish Ostriches through whose motives all can see
