Rudolph’s Cow & a Post Card from Heaven

Rudolph’s elevation to the position of Strategic Director at the Search for Extra Terrestrial Intelligence was riven by controversy. Many of his peers felt that he neither possessed the intellect for research nor the intuition for decision making. But what Rudolph did have was his trusted “Post Card From Heaven.”

Upon taking over an assignment, Rudolph just scribbled the problem on a white postcard before going to bed and placed it next to a now empty carton of milk through whose opening was pierced a broken antenna of a walkie talkie.

The answers were always in Cantonese. He just had to place the back of the post card against the picture of the cow and voilà! the words magically transformed into English!

Yes. It was his own cow QR reader and yet the world didn’t trust in aliens!

Rudolph was getting his salary only because he had the milk carton that could read Cantonese script?
