Fallen Leaves

A long pilgrimage

Journey into the deep soul

Cleansing exercise

Impurities within

Collected with abandon

Unknowingly stored.

Fallen leaves

Neglected to be swept off

A pile of them

Scattered thoughts

Confusion’s cauldron

Begging respite

All prejudices

Pent up rage and angst

Seeking vent

Places and pitstops

Shunning clacking mobiles

Nature’s bosom

Demise of wants

Purge of greed’s vestige

Looking within

A mountain

Glorious sunrise

In gratitude

Rolling meadows

Cows grazing in serenity

Earth’s own children

Abandoned barn

Profusion of hedges

Who lived here?

Breaking waves

Crashing onto the shores

A lover’s laugh

Lesson of life
