A Feast for Crows (A Song of Ice and Fire #4)

by Venky

The perverse boy king Joffrey Baratheon meets an incredulous and untimely end poisoned at his own wedding feast, thereby leaving his little brother Tommen as King Of The Iron Throne. Tyrion Lannister and his wife Sansa Stark are accused of regicide and forced to flee for their very lives.

What follows is a typical no holds barred George Martin special. Although not as fast paced and racy as its first 3 companions ‘A Feast For Crows’ might be the most assiduous and indispensable link holding together the whole Game Of Thrones series. Usual suspects vanish without a trace or make reluctantly fleeting appearances, while unexpected and at times undesirable protagonists and plotters weave in and out with scintillating dexterity!

As the living change to the dead, the dead wake up to life; sorcerers and swordsmen; prince and prostitute; healers and heathen; maesters and monarchs; sailors and sell swords and knights and knaves are mesh together in a churn of collusion and cacophony; trust and treachery. Just when the going seems to be sedate, out springs an unfathomable surprise!
