Beliefs – a tether that yokes one to notions of reality and absurdity
An invisible rope which binds man yet tricks him into an illusion that he is free;
Relations are soured, bonds are broken all at the altar of pseudo principles
Empathy stands eviscerated while common sense falls prey to petty squabbles
Left and Right are no longer innocuous geographical markers that direct and guide
Instead forming a cleave across both sides of which humans demonstrate and deride
No contrite.
